I built my first photo site myself more than twenty years ago. It began as a simple set of galleries and worked well for its time. About a decade later I rebuilt it using a professional template that I still use today, moving some older work into galleries and adding new images. At that time my focus shifted from simple presentation to blog posts, with images accompanied by my thoughts and observations. Once the initial setup was complete, galleries were no longer updated; new images were added to posts when they fit.

Another decade passed and the blog grew to about a hundred posts. It became crowded. Its content is now archived in blog archive (2015–2025) , and a new blog was started. You can browse its contents here.
